I've always thought that Andrew totally looks like a boy. But, Andy says that you can't really tell a baby's gender until they are like 12. He argues that if you put any baby boy in girly clothes (or visa versa), no one would know the difference. He thinks it is just your mind telling you the gender because you already know it. I'm still not convinced. My mother-in-law and I were arguing this point with Andy, and right then, the painter said "What a cute little girl!" to Andrew( he was just in his diaper). Okay, score one for Andy. Then, it happened again just a few hours later. O.k., two points for Andy. I'm still sticking with my opinion though. Anyways, I just started up an etsy store, and I don't have a baby girl to model my stuff. So, I used Andrew! Isn't he Cute! :) Now I need your opinion on the subject. Does he look like a boy wearing a bow, or a baby girl? TEll me what you think. I hope this doesn't scar him for life. I'll have to destroy the pictures when I'm done. Or, maybe I'll save a few for his wedding video. ; )
The Great Debate

Such cute pics and great etsy store!! I didn't realize until I was at your store that he looks just like Reed to me!!!
But I think he can pass for a girl for your store. And yes it will scar him so destroy all the evidence! ;)
Lauren--I have to be honest, now that I know it's a boy, I think that he looks just like a boy. But if I never knew then I would probably think he was girly....Anyway, your bows and headbands are adorable. What is this etsy thing? Is it just your website or are there more? Just curious. I'm impressed, though, with your crafty bow-making skills!
When I first opened the blog page, I thought who's that beautiful baby girl? Then I realized it was Drew and thought Aves was having fun dressing up her little brother, they do that ya know. THEN I realized his own Mother actually did that to him. I'm shocked that Andy allowed it, but PROPS for being resourceful. THEN I pictured my friends 8 year old son who still likes to play dress-up (not spiderman mind you, more like wonder woman/Miss America) with his sister and began to panic for you-jk. Someday he'll be proud of his Mom who did what she had to do, then hide in the closet trying on high heels and boas! Ha!
OK, La... the least you can do is take off his green and blue dinosaur jammies before trying to pass him off as a girl (see "pink and white Korker)!!! :)
