Spontaneous Adventures

*October 8

It was a Beautiful day yesterday. They say it may be our last, the end to this Indian Summer we have enjoyed the last few weeks. Not really knowing where we were going we jumped in the car and headed towards the coast. It ended up being too far away, so half way through our journey we took a quick turn off the freeway and followed the signs to Framlingham. One of the cool things about England is that no matter what direction you head in, you will almost always run into a castle. You would think that after going to a few castles it would get kind of old, but I LOVE them, and so do the kids. They love exploring and pretending to be the queen and king and I love learning the history and imagining what it was like long ago. This castle was the one were the first Queen of England, Mary Tudor, was crowned. It was built around 1100. AMAZING! The sun was shining and we soaked up the rays while the kids climbed and explored to their hearts content. A perfect Saturday.

I LOVE the pic with all three kids and Drew is making the funny face. Also, showed the kids the picture of the castle and Logan said, "That's a real, real castle? Like it's in a different country?" Yep! You guys are having some amazing experiences!

Fun pictures! England has so many great places for photo ops! We thought Framlingham was pretty cool, too.
I'm going to add your blog to my sidebar if that's ok with you!
