Crazy Boy and a straw
Last night we almost had to take a trip to urgent care. I bought these candles that have decorative rocks around the plate, and the kids will not leave them alone. Drew had just gotten a little talking too about NOT touching them and thought it would be funny to disobey mom just to taunt her. So what would you do with a little rock to make your mom mad? Stick it WAY up your nose of course! Yes, Drew stuck a rock up his nose so far that we almost couldn't even see it any more. We had to get the flashlight to see it. We tried to get it out a few times but that thing was not going to budge. We were ready to get into the car to go to the doctor when Andy decided to try one more thing...to suck it out with a straw. He put the straw in Drew's nose and sucked as hard as he could and was able to dislodge it from the upper cavity so that we could maneuver it out. I couldn't believe it actually worked! Now that is true unconditional love :) So, if your kid ever sticks something up their nose, try to suck it out before you go to the doc! :)

Big sister mocking baby brother :)
And here is Avery Modeling her new hair cut. She got about 6 inches cut off today.

That is hilarious! Drew is so funny and Andy must really really love him!
Sooo funny! Sam went through a "stick it up my nose" phase. I wonder how well the straw would have worked on the french fries and peas he stuck up there. Ewww. Now the Polly Pocket shoe wouldn't have been soooo bad. By the way, thanks again I looove the bucket and notebook and thoughtful sugar-free treat.
Hilarious! We did have to take Logan to the Dr. one Sunday night because he had stuck a pea so far up his nose that we couldn't even see it anymore. Actually, we tried many methods to get it out but ended up just pushing it up further. Never thought of the straw idea though! The dr. said that many times the parents never even know their kids had something up there and come in because their children have had runny noses for so long. He said that when that when it's been a while before they get it out, it stinks up the office so bad that they have to scrub the smell out!
Great pictures and beautiful kids.
LOL! Yes, my brothers were such trouble makers. I don't recall ever stuffing something up my nose, but beans, tiny pom poms, noodles... I've known my brothers to play with all sorts of junk! Eck! I'll let Jonathan work the straws in our house. :)
BTW, I love Avery's hair cut. Her curls are TOO CUTE!
Avery's hair looks so cute! She looks all growed up!!! And we all know why Andy risked sucking up some of Drew-Drew's bugars... to save money!!! Ok, I guess out of love too. That was genius, I tell you.- Da
First of all, I can almost bet that Andy's little straw trick will come in handy in our house one of these days. What is it with boys!?
Second, Avery is ADORABLE.
