Andy and the kids at the Natural history museum

The fam in front if the capitol building

and the Washington Monument

Avery taking a break outside of the Air and Space Museum

The kids feeding the ducks in front of the Capitol. This is as close as we got to the Capitol. It didn't seem that far away, but we kept walking and walking and walking and we just didn't have enough steam left to go the rest of the way

Andy's cousin Tyler and his cute wife Allison showed us around old town Alexandria. This was probably my favorite part of the trip. Virginia is Beautiful! Here we are in front of the
Potomac River

On the way back home we spent a day in Pittsburgh. We took this little tram thingy up Mt Washington and had an amazing view of downtown

Oh how fun! DC is SO wonderful in the spring! Looks like you guys had fun but yes DC requires a LOT of walking, I don't think I've ever walked all the way from one end of the Mall to the other. Props to you for even trying! Looks like you must be feeling better too, I'm so glad.
You must be feeling better to go on a road trip - that's good! Cute pictures. Washington DC is so fun.
I didn't know you guys were coming in a couple weeks til just barely.... YAY!!!!!!
Glad you got to escape on a road trip. Isn't DC beautiful? I love it and all the museums, festivals, ect. I just feel so patriotic when I'm down there!
I've always wanted to go to DC. So it was tough with the kids? That last picture is pretty cool. Oh, as far as my pics go, I've just been messing around more and trying to figure other stuff out. I still want to find a workshop in the future. I'm not sure about a business, still a hobby, just need somewhere else to post pics. I have just been using fabric hung over a shower curtain rod, clipped with hair clamps. It works :) Hope you are feeling better.
Hey! Cute family! Looks like a ton of fun. I heard that you are coming Monday! Hooray! We can't wait to see you and if you are still making bows bring some with you!! They are the cutest ones and my girls are in desperate need of a change. See ya soon
