Ever since Avery was born, I have been really snap happy (as most moms are). As a result, my computer is LOADED with 1000s of pictures. The other day I was having so much fun looking at all the pictures and reminiscing. I started scrapbooking when Avery was born, so I have a few of the favorite pictures in there, but I realized that I loved looking at the "out takes" or not so perfect pictures as well. I have TONS of pictures just sitting on my computer, doing nothing. I've never been good at getting them printed, so I feel really overwhelmed by the idea of printing and putting them into albums. But I need to do SOMETHING with them. I need your advice. What do YOU do with your pictures? How do you organize them and stay on top of it? Do you leave them all on your computer or delete them? Where do I even start? Please share all your picture organizing tips!!! I need HELP!!!

Lauren! All your pictures are so amazing! I just don't get why I can't do it, but I really can't! It's so frusterating!!! As for the advice....I have no idea because I am in the same boat. I have SOOOOOO many pictures. I have printed them (mostly) all off and they are just sitting in stacks waiting to be scrapbooked, although I know I will never be able to scrapbook all of them. I'll have to come back to this post and see what advice other people give you...
I'm silly but I print them all out and keep them in order with photo boxes.
hi lauren! I was bored and linked to you through Mique! Hope you don't mind. It's been a while- sounds like you guys are having fun- your kids are adorable and you take great pictures. No advice on what to do with all the pictures on your computer. I have the same problem.
Good question...i am a bit overwhelmed too! I actually had been thinking of printing them all off and then getting photoboxes to put them in since i will never be able to get around to scrapbooking them all. Well, now that i see that Bridi uses photoboxes that pushes me even more to get off my toosh and go get some of those...AND to go print off tons of pics. I will erase all the one's off the computer that i print off.
BTW, Avery is so pretty. YOu are really gonna have to keep a close eye on her when we gets older!

I burn CDs of them, chronologically, label them, and keep them in a CD folder. As for printing them, just go ahead and print them out then put them in the regular 4x6 albums-you know, the ones that are long and skinny and fit 3 down, or other ones like that. That way people can still look at them, even if they aren't scrapped. I usually print out the pictures that tell a story and scrapbook those, then put the rest in those albums.
WOW!!! Your kids are amazing. They look cute in every picture. I do nothing with my pictures besides put them on the computer, blog about them and that is about where it ends. It might change when I have kids?? For advice... Don't think you have to do it all at once. Just start by doing a few pages a week and before you know it, you will be all caught up.
There is an easy program I use on my mac that publishes my pics to hard bound books that I can customize and print that turn out really cute. I know Costco does something similar. They turn out really cute and are much easier to stay up on. Let me know what you think.

I'm in the same boat as you. Having a hard time figuring out what to do with all mine. If you get any great ideas. I love these black and white ones....they are awesome! Amazing kids you've got
