I Love Amy butler and Michael miller fabrics. I've been wanting to order some, but I wasn't sure what I was going to make with it. I finally received some inspiration and decided to make some cute camera straps. I ordered the fabric from my friend Carlie's etsy shop. Go check it out!
I also ordered fabric to make this Shabby Apple dress for Avery.
My mom is an AMAZING seamstress and can look at anything and recreate it. I could just order the dress, but $40 is a little steep for a toddler dress, and my Mom loves to have sewing projects to do.
What sewing projects have YOU been working on? I need more inspiration for all the fabric I ordered!

Cute straps! Once I get a camera I'll have to make me some! Havne't you guys been in Ohio a while? Are you moving back to Utah anytime soon?

That is the cutest dress and you will have to post a finished product. I love the camera neck strap. If only I could sew....Russ is the little seamstress in our family.

Lauren, hey you and I have a lot the same taste. Except you can figure anything out. I wouldn't know where to begin with trying to make those things. I almost bought that exact dress for Ava and I have been looking at some camera straps almost identical. Didn't buy either, even though I love them. Too expensive. You go girl! If you want to share any secrets on making the straps or if I could buy one from you let me know please :)

Cute, cute, my hooter hider is the same brown and aqua fabric (but I didn't make it!). I just bought cute fabric and I'm going to make a blanket but I know I'll have leftover and I'm looking for some good ideas too! Its sad when I see super cute fabric but I have no idea what to make with it!
