Half a year
I can't believe Noah is 6 months already. The time has flown by, and yet it feels like he has always been a part of our family. He melts my heart. He is kind of a stinker, but you just take one look at him and all your frustrations fade away. He has the sweetest smile and disposition. I love my little man so much!! At six months he has mastered the army crawl, gotten his first tooth, tried a few foods, learned to clap, still can't sit up very well, hardly ever sleeps (likes to cat nap), loves to play, grunts all the time, is SO ticklish, lights up when he sees his siblings, and loves his momma.
at 4 months he loves to chew on his tongue and stick his whole fist in his mouth. He has started to scoot around and loves to roll all over the place.

Last day of school
When Noah's passport unexpectedly came in the mail a month early, I didn't even think twice about flying back home for the summer by myself with all 4 kids. It had been 2 years since I stepped foot in the states, and I was itching to go. Looking back, I still can't believe I did it. It was a CRAZY journey to say the least! We took a hopper flight to New Jersey, I rented a car and drove 2 hours to the Philadelphia Aiport, and then took another flight into vegas. It was a long hard trip, but so worth. it. We had a blast in Utah. But, catching the hopper flight meant that the kids had to finish up their school year a little early. It was so bittersweet to say goodbye to Lakenheath Primary School. We had such an amazing experience at that school. The kids made some good friends and learned a lot.
The horrible no good very bad park day
The sun has been shining so we have been heading to the park as much as possible to soak up the rays. Unfortunately, all our expeditions seem to end badly for Avery. A few weeks ago, we went to the park on Mildenhall base. They have one of those things where you hold on to the handle and slide across. Being the good mom that I am, I wanted her to have lots of fun, so I gave her an extra good push across. I guess I don't know my own strength because I pushed her too hard and when she hit the other side she went flying off and face planted. We thought that she had bit through her lip so I rushed her to Andy at work to have him check it out. Luckily, she was okay, just a little beat up.
Fast forward a few weeks. She is all healed up and heads to the park with the Jones. They are gone no more than 20 minutes when I get a call from Blake telling me that Avery had an accident. They were riding their scooters on the skate ramps. As she headed down a ramp, her wheel stuck and she flipped over the handle bars smashing her face into the ground. No bloody lip this time, but instead she got 2 broken front teeth. Blake was so upset because it happened on his watch. He felt horrible (not like he could have done anything to prevent it though). I rushed over to the park to pick her up. It was the saddest site I have ever seen. I tried to be brave for her, but I wanted to cry. We rushed her to daddy's work again. Andy also broke his front tooth when he was her age and it caused him a lot of problems. So, when he saw Avery, he had to leave the room because he was so sad/upset about it and couldn't hold back the tears. It brought back too many memories for him. Things he didn't want his daughter to have to go through. He was so shaken up that he couldn't work on her and asked a friend (Jake Smith) if he would fix her teeth. He did a great job fixing them, but man, it was a rough day for all!
